MELLOW BEDS – TERMS & CONDITIONS
Welcome to Mellow Beds. Throughout this site, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Mellow Beds. By visiting our website (www.mellowbeds.co.uk) and/or purchasing something from us, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all users of the site, including browsers, customers, and others.
When you place an order with Mellow Beds, you agree to receive promotional emails and special offers. All transactions and interactions with us will be governed by the terms outlined below.
1. General Information
Details such as product descriptions, availability, and pricing on this website are updated regularly but may change without notice. Your ongoing use of our site confirms your acceptance of any updates or modifications to these terms.
2. Order Confirmation
After you place an order, you will receive a confirmation email from us.
If, after confirmation, we find an item unavailable, we will promptly notify you and arrange a refund for the unavailable product.
While we aim for complete accuracy in product descriptions and prices, mistakes can happen. In case of a significant error affecting your order, you will be given the choice to continue or cancel for a full refund.
3. Intellectual Property
All content on this site – including text, logos, graphics, and layout – belongs to Mellow Beds. You may use this website for personal shopping purposes only. Any unauthorized copying, sharing, or modifying of content without written permission is prohibited.
4. Deposits
Deposits paid toward an order are non-refundable if you choose to cancel or return.
Refunds on deposits are only issued if Mellow Beds cancels the order due to stock or pricing errors.
5. Discount Offers
Only one discount code can be applied per order.
We reserve the right to withdraw any promotional codes or offers at our discretion and without prior notice.
6. Changes to Orders
Requests to modify an order after placement may result in extra charges, depending on the nature of the change.
7. Delivery Information
Delivery charges are non-refundable.
While we aim to deliver within specified timeframes, exact dates cannot be guaranteed.
In cases where delivery fails due to incorrect address details or customer unavailability, a £60 redelivery fee will be charged.
Please inspect your items upon delivery. Any damages must be reported immediately to the delivery team before they leave.
If access through stairways or doorways is not possible, returns will not be accepted.
We are not liable for any damage caused to your property during the delivery process.
8. Assembly Service
If selected, our assembly service covers moving the bed into your chosen room and assembling it.
Note: This service does not include dismantling old furniture or disposal of packaging materials.
9. Warranty Coverage
- 90-Day Warranty: Covers faults in materials or craftsmanship. We will repair or replace defective components during this period.
- 1-Year Part Replacement Warranty: After 90 days, if a fault arises, we will supply replacement parts at no charge.
The warranty does not apply to damage from wear and tear, misuse, or incorrect assembly.
10. Cancellations and Returns
Inspect Your Order:
Please inspect your product upon delivery. Damages must be reported within 24 hours by email, including photographic evidence.
Change of Mind:
Custom-sized beds (including custom headboards, footboards, or side rails) cannot be returned or refunded.
Standard items may be returned within a 14-day cooling-off period, provided they are unused and in original packaging.
- Ordering the wrong size will incur a £175 fee for admin, delivery, and refund handling.
- Cancelling before dispatch will result in a £75 administrative fee.
- Customers are responsible for returning the goods at their own expense within 14 days in their original condition.
Exclusions:
- Assembled or used beds are non-returnable.
- Fabric or color selections are the buyer's responsibility. We recommend requesting free fabric samples before ordering.
- Refunds are not issued for dissatisfaction with color or material if selected by the customer.
Note: Refund Processing time is 1-3 working days.
11. Failed Deliveries & Delivery Refusals
If you refuse delivery without a valid reason related to a product defect, your order will be considered complete, and no refund or replacement will be offered.
If access issues prevent delivery, a £50 redelivery fee will apply.
12. Consumer Rights
Mellow Beds complies with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Please note that our products are custom-made, and as such, returns or refunds are only accepted for manufacturing defects identified at delivery.
